Responsive: Orion Publishing Developments

I have taken my most symmetrical studies and cleaned it up in photoshop.

My initial concept was to place the text centrally through the page, using the negative space created by the trees and pathway.

I removed the text underlines as I realised they were quite superfluous.

I find that the blue colouration is too dark, and does not play against the black text particularly well.

Eventually I settled with the design on the right, I am somewhat satisfied with the colouration, the aesthetic is reminiscent of pen and ink illustrations that often adorn old fairly tales. I would have liked to produce designs for the other books, alas there are other projects I must attend to.
