I noticed this brief on ArtsJobs, rather close to the deadline, the brief asked entrants to submit ideas related to Amy Johnson, the aviatrix who was the first pilot to fly solo from the UK to Australia. I produced some work related to the subject during Level 5, so I am somewhat invested in the topic.
The clients represent the Amy Johnson festival, they offered a fee for selected entrants who pitched interesting ideas for the festival, this might include an animation, written piece etc.
Over a couple of days I produced a 3-page .pdf to illustrate my proposal.
The proposal involved the production of a informative childrens book, somewhat similar to the recent 'Shackleton's Journey' book illustrated by William Grill. I enjoyed the chance to produce some pannel-based narrative, since I haven't actually done any during the degree, I do however feel as thought the actual artwork is a little stiff compared to recent develpments.
