In a previous meeting we had decided to produce a promotional animation for the launch event. This animation would be flexible enough for appropiation for later promotion. While everyone in the team was basically decent at animation we felt that we had to bring in another team member to figure out the After Effects side of production. As Zatul had shown interest, we asked her to help out.
After some discussion, we decided to produce a psuedo-stop motion video of three of us colouring in Paul's cover design. This process took much longer than we anticipated, taking over four hours to 'film'. Thankfully it seemed to work well. For my part, I simply coloured the image and was part of the group's collective art direction.
