Applied Illustration: Final Playing Cards & Tuck Box

Tuck Box
I used a card stock that was far too thick, which required scoring to bend the net. I used all-purpose superglue to fix it into place. A better choice of stock would have been 200-250 gsm satin paper, as this would have been easier to fold.

Aviation Playing Cards
I am pleased with the quality of the cards. Outsourcing the printing was the correct decision. The cards are uniform in shape, colour and resolution, unlike the cards I produced in reprographics.

I have tried to construct a pyramid from the cards, unfortunately the smooth stock makes it impossible. The inability to build a pyramid is a colossal disappointment.
