Responsive: T-Shirt Reference

Whilst producing the designs I referred mostly to examples of wood-cut and lino prints, as they frequently deal with black and white primarily.

I also found working within this limitation liberating, having worked with the sensitive palettes in the Western posters. 

Black and white designs can are flexible, in that secondary colours can easily be applied post-production. In addition, the black can be swapped out for any colour desired with simple techniques.
