Applied Illustration: Final Playing Cards

I have finished the designs that will adorn each of the 54 cards. I have embedded presentation below to show the picture cards, which were obviously the more involved designs. The number cards are as standard and were simply arduous to produce.

The back, as planned involves a motif based on Airfix packaging.

I am most pleased with this particular design and wish to expand it in future, so that it might be printed on a larger scale for t-shirts and wall-mounted prints.

The picture cards have gone through a lot of development, and I feel as though anymore editing will simply involve small insignificant details. I hope to avoid the issues I experienced in the previous module, wherein I spent a lot of time fiddling with the design,  rather than ensuring the practical application worked.

The Jacks are aviation famous engineers and inventors (although often also fliers themselves)
The Queens are famous aviatrixes
The Kings are famous aviators
