During this session the groups reunited and conducted a large informal review. This involved leaving post-it notes detailed with constructive criticism on the final boards of each group.
Here are the various notes left by the group:
'Could have included some more recognised land marks in the skyline - to make it more obviously Leeds.
We like the soft colour scheme, presents a more tranquil image of Leeds'
'Consistent palette + quality throughout'
'The colours of the sky give it a 'city smog' pollution feel... is this recognisable as Leeds without being told?'
'Absolutely smashed it beaut use of colour'
'Type with illustration inside is so cool' - Refers to the post card design
'Beautiful illustration lots of detail... like the slight GTA/80s USA feel to it!'
'Colours work really well together'
'Very professional mock-ups'
'Really good use of colour, professional presentation'
'Good colours, hand is a bit big though' - Refers to the hand present in the iPad app mock-up, interestingly the hand is actually too small compared to the iPad
'Really love the mixture of linework and digital colour painting'
'Wrestling with the colour really paid off - it really feels like 'Leeds' now
'Do you need to include the analogue sketch?'
'Very consistent! Large range of products, looks great'
'Colours really work well but, could have added more to different parts of the city?'
'The colours work really well together, it looks pretty. I like the app too'
'Pops out, stands out, looks slick and professional'
'Your attention to layout and detail is amazing. I really like the greetings card from Leeds'
'Love the product applications - t-shirt looks great - can imagine it getting popular
A concept statement would be useful' - The concept statement will be included during the submission process and thus was left out of the boards
