Collaborative Practice: Initial Proposal Boards

In this session we presented our proposed concepts to another group. I was initially worried that our response did not in-fact answer the brief, thus we devised five questions to ask our peer group:

1. Should we include developmental imagery in our final submission boards?

The group thought it would be beneficial to our pitch if we showed the development which caused us to arrive at the final resolved imagery.

2. Should we only use Pantone colours (the brief does not specify)?

We should show consideration of this, by at least adding swatches and colour library codes next to our imagery as reference.

3. Are we answering the brief?

We should include at least one page concerning the contextual applications of the imagery.

4. Is animation necessary?

We should attempt to create a .gif assuming we have the time.

5. Should we focus on signage and city-based infographics?

This would relate to the contextual applications of our works, for example the incorporation of imagery into signs around Leeds etc.
