Moving Pictures: Big Developments

Today I progressed considerably, the artwork for two of my animations is almost finished.

I created the following two .gifs to show what I managed.

Having reviewed my earlier designs I have revised the compositions to align to a fixed perspective, such as that found in Stanley Kubrick films. I find this constraint an extremely useful tool to simplify the process of making imagery.

For this design I aim make further adjustments to the lighting, such as causing the shadows of the beams and bench to shift as the train passes.

Referring to several tutorials I managed to create a snow effect, which I hope to tone down in future developments.

The text of each animation shall appear centred appropriately in the top portion of the image, mirroring the book covers.
