Visual Language: Transport (Mock Tudor)

During development I was struck by the idea of giving the airships a mock Tudor aesthetic. I felt that this would give more of a relatable framework to build the fantastical objects around.

This image contains a Britannia figurehead for additional patriotic splendour.

For this attempt I referred to the construction of historic sail ships, such as the HMS Surprise or Victory, which I feel greatly benefited the accuracy, though I hold qualms about the perspective.

I am tempted to trace the composition in illustrator, as it would benefit the regular architectural lines, though I would like to add more brush work to extenuate the hills and sky.
