Visual Narratives: Developments

Due to my struggles with anatomy I created several pages of repeated stabs at character design,
this particular page was highly influenced by Herge's Adventures of Tintin. Perhaps for a latter brief I will totally fixate on character as I find this process most enthralling.
The below image shows the process involved in tunnel facade construction, this has stemmed from reference imagery of early Victorian large-scale manufacturing projects.
The below image shows my use of a sharpie along side the fine liners, it has boosted the capacity for areas of extreme shadow significantly.
