In order to execute a piece of work which showed our understanding of the process and application we were instructed to fashion a photograph of ourselves as a mutant. To elaborate; a mutant in this case should be a characterisation of one of our personality traits.
I initially chose to enhance the length of my legs using card, I however found it impossible to balance correctly and operate the camera. Luckily my secondary idea was somewhat more straight forward to execute.
Tieman consists of 13 ties wrapped around a GP-5 gas mask that I found in Berlin, the character highlights my fixation with masks and diverse neck-ties, as a monstrous bug-eyed creation.
