The above three images equate to the entirety of the machine portion of the image. The reference material was agreeably useful, it prevented me from distancing the hanging mechanised pipes too far from reality into abstraction. The final two images in production are the 'canned culture' and 'landfill' sections, I have decided to keep to a consistent long and thing image rather than making a sudden change of ratio at the bottom of the image. I think that this will make the inferred narative of the image easier to follow an interpret for the viewer.
The use of blue masking tape has made a vast improvement to the quality of lines, it has also made it easier to deliberately manipulate jagged edges and measured portions, furthermore there has been a vast reduction in general damage inflicted to the surface of the paper.
