This is the third and thankfully successful version of the box. Previous attempts ended in frustration. The lid is constructed from a recycled paper storage box, which I have wrapped in my own design. The bottom segment was made from scratch due to a vital mistake made with the other half of the paper storage box. This means the lid is a little heavier than the base, but it seems to work ok.
If anything, the lid can get caught on the base when closing the box, but this is easily solved with a good amount of wiggling. It's a good thing I'm not on a degree for box making. Aesthetically, the box is sound and errors only appear under close inspection.
