I was relieved to find the computers fast enough to process drawing imagery at full scale, as the largest piece measures roughly 4 by 2 metres, which is certainly a lot of pixels.
There was of course noticeable brush lag, but nothing that infringed on the process too much.
I used a textured brush to make the edges of shapes and figures less like bland vectors, otherwise I adjusted the Second World War composition to improve the 'flow'. The scarfs and poses send the eye of the viewer to the right, whereupon the shelter signage is set off page. I am a lot more satisfied with the imagery in this state and have sent off the imagery in full resolution.
That marks the end of the project so far, working with the client and graphic design team has been great experience. The graphic designer consortium, Redman has asked whether I would be interested in producing more work for the same project, so hopefully I will be able to extend my contribution further.
