SB5 - Museum Brief 1: Developments [1]

After making a good amount of compositional tests in my sketchbook I arrived at two rough images rather quickly. I am very pleased with the first image, the figures are bold and instantly recognisable. I added more depth to the image to suggest a larger battlefield. Perhaps the speed at which I completed the imagery improved the immediacy of the drawing, making it less clean and sterile.

The second image took a little while longer, I am pleased with the figures, although I am not sure the image is consistent enough to the simplicity of the First World War image.

I have sent the imagery to the client for suggestions.
