SB1 - Thought Bubble: Cosmonaut at Window

This was a throw-away idea based on some drawings in my sketchbook.

I wanted to make a composition based on the view out of a window, with venetian blinds hanging down. I become frustrated with the lack of content, there was seemingly no point other than aesthetic interest to draw a window.

I attempted to construct a narrative based on a western show-down, the concept of which would later be recycled for the travelling man exhibition.

Having spent a good amount of the day getting annoyed at the window, I added a cosmonaut knocking at the glass. I found this very amusing and decided that my consternation over the ethical quandaries of purposeless-illustration were daft and wasting time.

Perhaps this final drawing was an expression of fun rather than trying to wrestle with concept, range, distribution and ethics.

I will sell it at ThoughtBubble.
