SB1 - Studio Brief 1: Thought Bubble
THOUGHTBUBBLE
Having booked a exhibitors table at Thought Bubble, the illustrator must produce a variety of products to sell. These products will range in production method, stock and format to secure a decent profit.
The student will also create promotional imagery for their practice and create business cards and other materials, these will be documented appropriately on the PPP blog.
Products
. Star Wars Prints
. Pattern-based screen print
. X-Files prints
. Original artwork based on the science fiction genre
. Zine/s
. Stickers
. Small prints appropriating Level 4/5 imagery
Tone of Voice
The imagery will vary in the tone of voice depending on the subject matter (X-Files will for example deal with themes of mystery etc.)
Audience
The majority of attendants are fanatics and are eager to purchase fan art. Original imagery should also be produced to prevent popular culture saturation
Context
The prints will be sold at Thought Bubble, unsold stock can sold online using sites such as Etsy
Additional Information / Considerations
The illustrator may wear a costume or implement a theme for their table to attract custom
