A2 is the largest scale the college printers can print double-sided, so using indesign I arranged the card designs into two A2 documents.
The cards were given a good amount of bleed to make the cutting process easier.
Inevitably, there was some extra space in the second document, which I filled with extra jokers.
The print quality of the cards is acceptable, however there is some pixelation.
Trimming the cards took about twenty minutes, I plan to use a round corner cutter at a later time.
The cards are not of a quality I find acceptable; the primary issue is the feel of the stock. The paper was one of two the print room offered that could be printed on double sided at such a scale.
This stock lacks the smoothness of playing cards, meaning they are difficult to shuffle and separate.
I will pursue a private company to print the cards professionally.
