Using minimal reference imagery I initially created four images with fine liner, this was to avoid the usual temptation to erase and re-draw that the digital process offers. Instead of eliminating mistakes, they have evolved into unexpected areas of the drawings. It was somewhat liberating to draw on this scale in a such a loose way considering the heavily digital work I have been doing recently.
Obviously the colours have been added digitally, but this process was much looser thanks to the already established line drawing.
