Moving Pictures: Colour Tests

After a tutorial it was suggested that I make some additional edits to my animation. The following .gifs show the progression of these tests.

Although I felt that a colder blue was most appropriate to set the tone of the piece I tried fading in a more murderous red.

This led me to introduce an older visual concept which involved the use of distinctive windows in each piece. In addition, I introduced the use of an art-deco boarder which I had adapted from some royalty imagery found in a library book.

I find that this later visual test seems to give the animations a more formal quality, although I am worried that the use of a title card obscures too much of the animation.
