"Rabbit on a Train" (Painting to 3d) from seccovan on Vimeo.
This is an example of a static artwork which has been edited for the use in an animation.
The general concept is similar to one of my own, however I aim to communicate darker themes of foreboding in order to relate to 'Murder on the Orient Express'.
I would also suggest that the moving background appears flat and lacks the correct perspective.
In my own animation I shall introduce multiple layers of background, moving at different speeds to imitate reality.
I also recalled the animated backgrounds from fighting games such as Street Fighter 2. These particular .gifs were created by someone called 'RudeBootie,' I have thus far been unable to find the original background artist.
Unlike the previously discussed colour-cycling animations, these are composed of moving layers, and thus apply more directly to my own project.
