Responsive: Thought Bubble 2014

During the last academic year me and three other illustration students decided to buy a couple of tables at the upcoming Though Bubble convention.

The preparation has effectively been a live brief. I have had to consider how I divide the table with my peer, Becky, and select a wide range of designs which I think will sell.
I have made my selection in consideration of what I have seen sold successfully at previous events.
I find that the majority of purchases are usually A5 or smaller, and that zines are quite popular due to the relation to the comic theme of the convention.
I have also noticed that a high consideration of table decoration seems to draw the attention of visitors. For this aforementioned reason Becky and I have decided to give the table an X-Files theme, and decorate the desk with appropriate paraphernalia to make it appear similar to Mulder's own desk as pictured below.

This decision also justifies our desire to wear costumes for the event, I shall dress as Mulder, and Becky as Scully.

I am also in the progress of making a print that relates to this theme.
