Moving Picutres: Stop Motion Workshop

During this session we split into modest groups and collaborated to create short animations.
The primary lesson was to learn how to manipulate the frame as a key component of moving imagery.
For example; to create the illusion of a perfect loop the train leaves the right and enters from the right.
I deliberately created a train as it relates to the common theme of travel found within Agatha Christie books. I find there is a lot of potential for an animated train due to the clock-work like movement of the pistons and wheels, which I hope to include in later attempts.

To produce the .gif we used imotion which is a fairly basic stop-motion tool.
