After the peer review I decided to revisit the main portrait piece using the colour scheme I had established for the post cards and stamps. I thought this would go some way to improve the consistency of the set.
Through the duration of the project I have struggled to apply the appropriate digital colouration, in contrast I found that the line art was fairly non laborious. Hopefully due to this minor struggle I have somewhat resolved the disconnection between analogue process and the digital.
By using the light box I have investigated a method of reproducing line art to a higher standard, this has also allowed me to discover new ways of colouration and layering within photoshop. Perhaps choosing Spielberg was the easy choice due to my familiarity with his works, but I argue this has allowed me to be consistently invested throughout the brief.
The post cards are probably the strongest elements of the set, as they employ a more rigid attention to the use of balanced composition and colour values.
