During this workshop we generated a vast quantity of ideas concerning our brief.
Firstly, we selected three words to summarise the given texts, following which we listed associative words. Thereafter our lists were subjected to being passed around the studio at random, so that peers could list more variations until eventually someone had to create a table of connections. This resulted in many visual ideas which did not relate at all to the text, as once our three words were taken out of context they were subject to the next peer's personal associations.
The aim of the workshop was to make us aware of idea and concept generation methods, though much of it will be disregarded I have found many of the ideas quite unusually interesting.
